Dunes was Sold to MGM (NY) in 1964.

Location : Los Angeles Califf. (Rays Home)

Owner : Ray Peterson 

But run by his Manager Mort Shulman, as Ray had been crippled with polio. Mort then took office in the Brill building in New York & arranged a deal with Hill & range as distributer for the label as a Subsidiary of  Bigtop Records (NY) . Ray Peterson  meet in 1959  Phil Spector in La & became friends. Phil became the label producer.

The Dunes Name & logo was based on the Famous Las Vegas Strip Hotel Paradise Nevada where Ray Peterson did a four week run every year.
