Mala (NY) 45rpm Vol. 1

 I have always thought of Mala as being a cheap plastic / Styrene pressed New York label, making poor Hippy crossover Garage R’N’R / Soul pop, but I forgot about those early legendary Rockin’ Records by Link Wray, Bunker Hill and others. Totally wipe the floor Killer Rockers. Anyway wimakaeler has made a huge effort to find the whole 45rpm Mala issues. So you can make your own mind up. One Mans Country is another mans Rock’N’Roll, One woman’s Northern Soul is another Woman’s Doo-Wop, But crap hippy pop is always just garbage. Most of these will get one play others will become firm dance floor fillers at the weekenders. Enjoy the good ones. Additions, corrections welcome. Apesville.
