This whole label was a mess each track had needle drop & noisy ending. Volumes were all over the places. I spent a whole week cleaning the tracks up & re tagging / adding labels. Lots of misinformation on the www. about Circle to wade through and check. A lot of issue dates on Disclogs are wrong. So I hope somebody enjoys Circle. it was very hard work to get this far. Corrections additions welcome.

Though this kind of music isn't exactly what I like, I really appreciate all the work you do. Thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteYes I Like Rockabilly myself Plus Solid Guitar/ piano Rock 'N' Roll Rockers. It is not really my music, But it was a request & it features early root music, that had a big influence on how 1950's R'N'R was formed. The New York sound is always a big more orchestrated Than the Memphis sound I love. Dean
DeleteDave from Ardmore loves this gathering of traditional jazz and commends you for this divine deviation from the your blog's norms. I hope you go "off course" in the future. Many thanks for this. So many independent labels like Orignal Sound and Signature deserve your attention.
Delete"Orignal Sound and Signature" well i'm only on the G letter labels with lots of re-ups A though F to redo. Maybe If I live that long. I do have music on these labels. Or maybe someone could cover these labels and email them in. Dean
DeleteYour dedication to the task of unearthing these 80-years-gone sounds is very much appreicated.
ReplyDeleteNever heard anything from that label.
ReplyDeletewell click the Get Here link & the music there to listen to. enjoy Dean
DeleteThanks. Good work as always!
